Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

12 Feb 2015... Put the tenderloin in to marinate yesterday and baked it tonight for supper. Moist and tender.. I misread the honeymustard and used dijon mustard and it turned out rather well. My husband enjoyed it and I will make this again.. Perhaps I will use the honey mustard the next time. Thanks!

Grilled Jalapeno Tuna Steaks

I made this tonight and it was good, although it could have used more marinade. I even added a little more olive oil as someone had suggested in one of the reviews I read. Definitely don't want to cook tuna steaks more than 3 minutes per side, which is what I did. I used a cast iron skillet on med high heat, served with a mixed veg and fingerling potatoes, which made for a nice meal. Will try this again.

Baked Salmon II

I used this recipe today with slight change, that being dried vs fresh parsley and I used two tbsp melted butter with four tbsp evoo, mixing the ingredients together and pouring it over the salmon. I turned the salmon at least once, 1/2 way through the hour of marinating. I baked it for about 40 minutes and served it with fresh green beans and sweet inspirations potatoes. It was tasty!!! Salmon does not need a lot of help, so this marinade was just right!!! Will use it again!!!

Shrimp Stir-Fry

I used this recipe last night, with 1/2 lb of shrimp and carrots, green beans and mushrooms for the vegs. It was tasty, simple and easy to do and served over white rice. It could use a little bit more zing to it, but I will use this recipe again. I will read a few more reviews to look for tweaking ideas others have tried and had sucess with...

Shrimp and Asparagus

I made this recipe on 31 Mar 2013. I read a number of the other reviews, most recent types, and added about 1/4 tsp Allepo Pepper Flakes and Old Bay Seasoning. I also cut the butter to about 1/2 and not as much olive oil as well. It was ok, but a little bland. I may try it again, but figure out how to tweak it a bit more and perhaps use a different green vegetable in it..

Put one star but have not really tested this recipe. I had to put something as I wasn't sure how to get in touch with Grumpy's Honeybunch to let her know, there is not mention as to how much rice or what kind you used in the ingredients section. In the directions section but not elsewhere.... Thanks!!!

Taco Pie

I made this recipe this afternoon and it was ok, but not sure about the use of the crescent roll dough as the base. I would like to see how it goes if tortillas were used as the base. I worked 1/2 can of retried beans into the ground beef and then used the other 1/2 as a layer after the ground beef.

Pasta Siciliano

I'd give this dish 4 1/2 stars. I used rigate pasta, julienned/sundries tomatoes and Aleppo pepper are about the only things I changed, but didn't put all the pasta in the finished dish. My husband said it was good!! I will make it again.

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

I used this recipe for dinner tonight and it turned out rather tasty. I made the mustard sauce earlier today and added the chives about two hours before dinner, which had an almost horseradish taste to it. I used the Hormel brand extra lean pork roast @1 lb weight which was plenty. Had mashed potatoes and vegetable which made a nice meal. Thanks.

Easy Broccoli Salad

Ok, what did I do wrong??? Could not get the dressing to thicken up using a small whisk. The broccoli cooked fine at 6 mins. It spouse would rather not eat a cold salad broccoli. May try this again as we like broccoli.. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Mexican Chicken

My husband said it was good, so I will make it again. Served it over buttered noodles, so will try doing it over rice next time. I browned the chix in skillet w/butter, then put in the oven. The cheese melted, but did not get brown and bubbly. I used Jardines (sp?) Ranch Chipotle medium salsa and sharp cheddar with a bit of sour cream upon serving. Will try some of the other suggestions next time, i.e. black beans, olives, etc... Thanks!!!

Hoppin' John

Used my cast iron dutch oven to make this dish, or should I say try and make this dish. I followed the directions up to the point of adding the white rice... Did not cook in the 20-25 mins suggested. I even went longer and had to add water. I think cooking it longer caused the peas to get mushy and my husband did not care for the dish, for the mushy peas and said it was somewhat bland. May try again, cooking the rice separtely and spice it up a bit. Should I have not used my Dutch oven?

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

I made this last night, after having marinated the chicken overnight. I set the time at 15 mins and it still looked a little pink so added 5 more mins. The flavor was not overpowering but the chicken breasts were so moist!!! Will make this recipe again.

Simply Delicious Meat Loaf and Gravy

This recipe was very simple, maybe too simple as it needs something to give it a bit of a kick...I made it, served it with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veg. it was good, but as I said it needs a little help..
