Krazy Garlic Trout

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
This rainbow trout was the best I've ever had! I don't care for peppers so I left it out and it was still wonderful, tender and flavorful from the onion and garlic. I did sprinkle flavored Italian breadcrums inside and out and sprayed the fish with "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter". After baking, I broiled the fish on low for 2 minutes just to make it a bit crispy. Thanks Krazy for an easy and delicious recipe!

Deb's Scallops Florentine

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2007
I absolutely loved this scallop recipe. I got tired of the typical sauteed with butter and garlic. This was outstanding. I didn't pre boil the scallops as recommended by prior reviewers and did add sauteed onions, mushrooms and garlic. I served it on top of white rice and it was delicious. Thanks Deb for a superb recipe!!

Cheesy Catfish

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
This is the most delicious catfish recipe I have ever tasted! As I am dieting, I made a few modifications: I didn't use any egg, just dipped the fillets in the milk. I didn't use any flour but 1/3 seasoned breadcrumbs and 2/3 grated parmesan cheese, added garlic powder, a dash of garlic salt and placed the fillets on a cookie tray with aluminum foil sprayed with canola spray. Instead of pouring butter over the cutlets, I gently sprinkled parmesan on top of the fillets and then sprayed some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter on top. I baked it at 350 for about 10 minutes and it looked like nothing was happening so I set the oven to low broil for 5 1/2 minutes and it was moist and crisp around the edges. I shaved a few slivers of sharp cheddar and placed it on top of the fillets as previously suggested and left the fillets in the oven for 1 minute with the oven off just to melt the cheese. Absolutely delicious, thanks!

Stuffed Breast of Veal

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
This is a recipe my mom made when I was a child. The stuffing is wonderful and can be used with chicken or turkey also. I did, however add sauteed spinach and roasted sunflower seeds to the stuffing mixture. Thank you for sharing this recipe and taking me back to a very happy time in my life!!

Jackie's Special Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I am not a lover of meatloaf but this recipe was wonderful. I think the panko breadcrumbs made a world of difference. This was a light and flavorful recipe which I will make again and again. To me most meatloaf tastes like hamburger, boring, boring, boring, but not this. I did add some fresh garlic and onion, otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Thanks for sharing Jackie!

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2008
What an amazing pork roast!! I followed the recipe to the letter but just added a tablespoon of soy sauce to counter the sweetness of the gravy. This was the most moist, juicy pork roast I have ever made. Double the gravy if you like a dipping sauce - YUMMY!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
I absolutely loved this recipe! The only thing I did differently was to dredge the pork steaks in seasoned flour before I put them in with the garlic and butter. It gives the steaks a nice silky texture and thickens the butter just a tiny bit. I didn't have green onions so I used 1/2 large sweet onion and it was wonderful! The pork steaks had a delicious flavor and they were so tender! I will definitely use this recipe again - it's easy and quick to prepare after a day of work. THANKS!!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I tried this recipe and was a bit skeptical because I never boil ribs before I prepare them. I usually but them on the grill right out of the package. These are by far the best ribs I have ever made. I do add alot more garlic powder - usually 4 tbs. for a 5 lb. rack. I have used this recipe for a full rack, for country ribs and also for pork neck bones and they all come out perfectly without any work! I usually spray the pyrex with Pam so that cleanup is a breeze. We use this recipe on a weekly basis and they never come out any other way than perfect! THANKS LLOYD!

Broccoli Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
I love this recipe - it is a family favorite. I substitute shredded mozzarella for the swiss cheese and I use 4 eggs to make it light. I also add fresh minced garlic to the roux - yum!

Pecan Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
I truly enjoy scallops but I didn't love this recipe. I used Ritz crackers - I didn't have any pecans so I substituted walnuts which I don't think was a good idea. I also added parmesan cheese to the topping as one reviewer suggested. When I took it out of the oven and tasted it, it was very bland. I added alot of granulated garlic and about a tablespoon of butter which helped. It was just ok...wish I could have left 5 stars.
