I like Mexican and Italian dishes. I like to bake cakes and desserts. I am really big on presentation. If it looks good people will want to try it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
There is only my husband, myself and my son at home but I still like cooking "the works" on Thanksgiving or Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
The very first time I attempted to make a huge Texas Sheet Cake for the resident's I served it came out fabulous and it is the best I have ever made. They loved it and asked for it often thereafter.
My cooking tragedies
I really can't recall preparing anything that wasn't edible, but for overcooking or something to that affect. Once I made an apricot cheesecake that didn't set-up like it should have.
