Honey Cake III

This cake turned out great for me. I made it exactly as directed and baked it for 40 minutes. It was very light and fluffy. I will definitely make this again. Try it with vanilla frosting..yum.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

This is the best chicken pot pie I ever made. I took some of the other reviewers suggestions and made extra gravy to avoid dryness. I actually doubled it which turned out to be a bit too much for my regular sized pie plate. I also added some garlic powder to the gravy. Really yummy. Not a crumb was left.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Very good recipe. Great idea using the crockpot. I love that you can make these hours ahead of time yet it tastes like you just put it together minutes before serving. My guests loved the flavor. Will make again.

Quick Baby Back Ribs

This is a delicious and easy way to do ribs. I agree that baby back ribs should not fall off the bone. They should be very tender yet have a little "bite" to them. I cooked these on a charcoal grill. They took about an hour and 10 minutes to finish. At the end of the cooking time, I opened the lid and WOW, perfection. Beautiful color. My whole family loved these and said, "Mom. please, no more crock pot ribs, these are so much better". Thanks for this delicious and easy recipe.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

This was very good. As suggested by another reviewer, I used all chocolate - no cocoa powder. I substituted the cocoa powder with 4 oz of bittersweet chocolate. The rest of the recipe remained the same. This reminded me of a cake that is made in a high end bakery in my area. Mmm Good!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

I love the fact that you don't have to pound the chicken breasts - just butterfly them. That is such a time saver. Excellent flavor. The whole family love it. Will make again.

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Good quick and easy soup. My whole family enjoyed it. A good way to get some veggies in. I listened to other reviewers and only used 1 onion soup packet. The only negative I have to mention is that the recipe should have included pepper. It definitely lacks flavor without it.

Beer Margaritas

This drink is very good and so easy to put together. I made it as the recipe states. If you are expecting a traditional margarita, (like a friend of mine was expecting) it isn't. It's a delicious, different and fun spin on an old favorite. Enjoy!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were a big hit at a football tailgating breakfast this past weekend. I used brown sugar in the topping instead of white sugar and it was so good. This is my blueberry muffin recipe from now on :)

Antipasto Salad

This is a great recipe and so simple to put together. I made it without the pepperoni and mozz. cheese because I was in the mood for a more vegetarian salad and it was great. Next time I'll try the entire recipe. Very easy, adaptable and yummy!

Fruity Grilled Pork Tenderloin

I had high hopes for this recipe because of the delicious ingredients and ease of preparation but in the end I was a little dissappointed. It was a little bland for my taste. I like to use garlic in the pork recipes I try. It was definitely missing something.. but that is just my taste.

Barbecue Ribs

These ribs were awesome! I just made them today for company and everyone raved. This will be my rib recipe from now on. I used 1/2 the sugar as others have suggested and I marinated them overnight. So simple and extremely yummy. Great for parties.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Yum! Yum! this is a keeper! This will be a part of my Thanksgiving repertoire. I used 1/2 the amount of white sugar and the full amount of brown sugar for the topping and the results were wonderful.
