Cioppino

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
Followed the recipe but tweaked it by adding a couple of spoonfuls of concentrated fish stock and a can of chopped clams in the broth. Oh, and a squeeze of fresh lemon. It was excellent and easy too!

Smothered Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
It was very yummy and family friendly! Made a few changes. I used 1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup with half a can of milk mixed in. I crushed up french's fried onions and sprinkled them over the top of the pork chops, a little garlic salt and generously peppered the chops. Then poured the soup mixture over the top then covered with aluminum foil. Baked for 1 hr then served over steamed rice. No photo, because we ate it all :)

Simply the Easiest Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2012
i added a little bit of garlic salt to the salt and pepper rub, added a little bit of minced garlic to the beer, chili sauce and used about half a cup of brown sugar. I made it yesterday for dinner tonight, my daughter was hiding in the other room to wait for me to leave the brisket unattended so she could sneak bites. I have never made brisket before and have to say this was the EASIEST recipe ( just like the title says). will make this again and again!

Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2012
oh my gosh! yum! I had all the ingredients and just eyeballed the measurements, i don't think i used as much lemon juice as recommended and the minced onion was dried so tomorrow when my husband eats the tartar sauce with the leftovers, it'll be even better.

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
I just finished eating these incredible grilled pork chops. And i altered the recipe only a little bit. I added a little bit more soysauce, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and instead of ground ginger (which I am sure would have been fine) I used crytsalized ginger finely chopped. They were so juicy and flavorful. I used pork loin thin blade chops and grilled them for 5 minutes on teh one side then another 4 minutes on the other. I drizzled a little of the marinade on the side that wasn't cooking and a little salt. YUMMY

Artichoke Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
WAY TOO MUCH DIP!!!! but it was very good! I accidentally bought creamed spinach but i used it anyway, so this dip was simply gooey goodness. I would recommend using hawaiian bread for dipping.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2003
My family was so impressed by the moistness of this turkey. My husband said, "this is the best turkey he has ever had". thank you thank you thank you! I substituted the bouillon with a can of chicken broth and the remaining liquid water.
