Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2014
This is so good. I've made it several times and it's so quick and easy. It's hot, spicy and I love the sweetness (it's not too sweet at all). I use it for pizza and pasta. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
It was barely adequate. I made it with The Best Spanish Rice recipe from this site, which saved the meal because the rice was exceptionally good. This is not worth making ever again. I will cut up the left overs and make fajitas with it. Sorry, wished I liked it.

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
Fantastic! I was going to add other seasonings to spice it up a bit but when I tasted it while it was cooking I was so surprised how good this tasted I didn't add a thing. This was so good; it is a keeper. Yummy!

Scalloped Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
This gets a five star because it is so easy and very good. I made just a few changes by adding a little grated cheese and ground pepper on each layer. I also added an extra layer. Yummy!

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
Yummy! I used fresh baby spinach. I cannot imagine using frozen. The fresh spinach will wilt when you add the dressing. I also added cucumber and mozzarella crumbles. I probably used more tortellini and just used enough salad dressing to coat the salad; a whole jar lasted several salads. Try adding artichokes too. My Bunco group loved it and asked for the recipe. This is an easy and is a fantastic salad to use as a side or main dish. Bravo.

Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2003
I just made these to test before making them for gifts. I thought I did not like them at first but ate several. I used white chocolate and butterscotch chips to see which I liked better. Definately use the butterscoth chips. I would give the recipe with the white chocolate a 2 rating. Weird consistancy though. Chewy and a little hard and they fall apart. But like I said, I kept eating them. So I guess I liked them.

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2003
I took this to Thanksgiving today; forget the kids, the adults loved it. Everyone got seconds. The recipe seemed a little runny at first but if the dish has to sit a while it turned out just right. I layered the recipe just as it indicates but ended up stirring it after 30 minutes of cooking. The Velveeta melts but in patches. Don't bother layer it. Just mix it all together and add the fried onions during the last 10 minutes of baking. I used canned french green beans and only used one cup of cheedar. Super easy and fast. I will use this recipe again.
