Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2014
My family did not like it at all. I used good real Marsala wine and Sherry. Very bland. The seasoning should be put in the sauce, not in the coating of the chicken (where almost none of it sticks). If you try this, definitely add more seasoning to the dish while cooking.

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2014
Really, really good! I used frozen corn thawed in the microwave. Folded the tortilla for less spillage out the side (for little ones that really helps), finishing it under low broil in the oven really gives it that nice crunchy texture. Served with sour cream and salsa. Yummy flavors. Used slightly less brown sugar and it gave it that extra special 'something', definitely don't omit. My husband and boys loved it. Said they would have it any night! Thank you! Happy Hour/Football game worthy!!

Garlic Spinach

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2014
Perfect blend of seasonings, the lemon gives it a fresh yummy flavor. I only had a 5oz. container of spinach so it only made 2 servings (I reduced the garlic to 2 cloves). Will definitely put this in my rotation and make more next time. Thank you for sharing!

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2014
Delicious flavors - restaurant worthy! The pesto is a must, I also used evaporated milk instead of the cream and it turned out perfect. Can't believe I actually made sauce this good! Thank you!

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Amazing and quick! We use a 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat flour blend and they are very tasty. My 4 year old son loves making these with me. We reduce the nutmeg (to fit our personal taste) and they are delicious. They don't last long!

Creamy Swiss Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
Creamy goodness! My entire family loved this recipe. I also added 1/4c milk as another reviewer suggested, and it turned out great. The swiss gives it a touch of 'something special' but you're not sure what it is. Great recipe. My husband told me to make double next time so we could have leftovers!

Jumbo Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Delicious blueberry muffins. My entire family loved them. The brown sugar topping is a must. I followed recipe and it made 12 regular muffins and 9 mini muffins. Not sure how that happened? Maybe because my 4 year old was helping me?! Thanks for the yummy recipe.

This dish was super easy, tasty and my entire family enjoyed it. I increased the cream cheese to a full 8oz, added some garlic as others suggested and it was very flavorful. Great dish!

Waldorf Brown Rice Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2013
Deliciously balanced flavors. The mayo/yogurt sauce was perfect for this dish. Will make with slightly more sauce next time. My husband loved it. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins. Will definitely make again - great dish for a brunch or larger gathering.

Melissa's Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
This is a GREAT recipe. I reduced the milk as a few others did and it was perfect (not too moist). I also added a splash of Worchestershire. Topped with ketchup instead of the soup as I didn't have any on hand! This was a winner with my husband!

Beef, Asparagus and Portobello Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
My husband loves this dish - he will even eat it without the meat and over brown rice for a healthier alternative. I use sliced cremini mushrooms and also add snap peas to the mix. The sauce is great, I add a bit of Worchestershire to the broth, which gives it an added kick. It's sooo easy and has so much flavor!! Love this recipe.
