This is a great recipe!! I added 2 tsp. of Gravy Master to add color, and I also added two shot glasses of a wonderful Shiraz that I had on hand. I will be making this recipe again!!! Family loved it!!

I used bacon, mexican mix cheese, cream cheese, and jalapeno peppers for my filling. I made 96 puffs for a family gathering and there was not one leftover. Everyone loved them.

Claremont Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I've been looking for a Claremont Salad recipe, and this one is so close to what I wanted. I doubled the recipe, and added thinly sliced celery (6 stalks). I also used 3-16 oz. bags of very thinly shredded cabbage from the produce section of my grocery to save on time. The end result is wonderful and was a huge hit at the family gathering that I made it for. Very light and refreshing on a hot summer day!

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly as written and I've got a dry mess. Bread is not moist after baking for an hour, and pouring it into ungreased pans? The bread stuck to my non-stick pans and I had to bang it out. Neither loaf is pretty looking. It does taste good even if dry. I would add some ground cloves to it if I ever make it again, grease the pans and cut back on the baking time.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

I love these cookies. Although I soak the cranberries in cherry brandy overnight, get them good and drunk! ;-)

Peppermint Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
I just finished making my 6th batch of this peppermint bark. I used Ghirardelli bittersweet dark chocolate for the bottom layer, the white chocolate on top of that. And instead of using candy canes or the starlight mints, I used soft peppermint candies (I buy them by the tub at Sam's) that I smashed with a mallet. Sprinkled on top and lightly pushed into the white chocolate. I used to buy the peppermint bark from Williams and Sonoma every year, but I really like this recipe much better!

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2005
I loved the recipe, however made a few changes. I bought and used an entire 8 oz. brick of cream cheese, used a full cup of sour cream and instead of the romano cheese, I used a full cup of a combination of coursely grated romano, parmesan and asiago cheeses. I put all the ingredients into my food processor and whirl until chopped and blended. I like the consistency of the mixture when put into the food processor. Everyone loves this recipe and I am asked to make it for almost every occasion!
