Great recipe. After I enjoyed the original recipe I doctored it: I added 1/4 cup red wine, a pinch of ground ginger and some orange zest.

Seven Minute Frosting I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2005
Took a bit longer than 7 minutes, maybe 10. Results were amazing! Make this and frost your cake as close to cake-eating time as possible. As soon as my cake was iced, I sprinkled it with sweetened flaked coconut and called it my "Snowball Cake".

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
If I could give this 10 stars, I would! I made only 7 muffins and they were the perfect size. Or makes 24 mini-muffins. I also added a tiny bit of lemon zest to the batter....sooooo good! Thank you Colleen!!!

Garlic Broccoli

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
Whatever you do...don't add this much salt! I'm a salt lover and even I reduced it to 1 tsp, and it was so salty that I was embarrassed to serve it! I still gave it 5 stars because the flavour otherwise was delicious! Reminiscent of Caesar dressing. I also blanched the broccoli as suggested by other users. I then heated it up in the microwave to serve as a hot dish and it was fab! Btw: I also blanched some chopped green kale to get even more vitamins.

Very fluffy but so flavourful! It's amazing. Also cooked some in a souffle dish without the crust, perfect! Cooking time was alot shorter than suggested though...might be my oven?

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

AMAZING! I used dark brown sugar for the bottom of the pan mixture, and will try yellow sugar next time as it was very dark and rich. But I will still use dark brown sugar inside the rolls. Worth the wait!

Perfect every time! Nice chewy bar! LOVE IT! I use toasted chopped pecans instead of walnuts just because that's my preference, and they're great!
