Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2004
This recipe tastes like a lasagne but is much simpler to make. It was sooooo good. The family really enjoyed it. In addition to the onion and ground beef, add 2 tbsp of minced garlic for added flavor. I would suggest mixing 1/3 sauce with 1/2 pasta as the first layer, then top with the grated provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/3 sauce mixed with rest of pasta, mozzarella cheese, rest of sauce. It was good without the Parmesan cheese. This recipe is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

Teriyaki Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2004
This is a great recipe for marinating tougher cuts of meat. I used this for beef short ribs (aka Maui ribs) and it turned out very tender. The store bought version tastes horrible. To enhance the flavour, use fresh garlic, ginger and onions! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2004
The sauce was too sweet. It didn't quite go well with the pork roast. The family had to cut away all parts of the roast that was marinating in the sauce to rid of that taste. We had to make a package pork gravy in order to eat the roast. Sorry!

Lemon Chiffon Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2004
This recipe is was very to make. It was lemony and light. I only cut the cake in half (to make 2 layers) and had just enough filling for that middle layer and the top/side of the cake. I had to cover up the sides as it didn't look very clean when I took it out of the pan! Will make again.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2004
This is the first time I've made apple pie from scratch and it turned out! My daughter didn't enjoy it but my husband liked it. I adjusted the recipe by using 1/2 Granny Smith and 1/2 Gala apples, reduced the water by an equivalent amount of vanilla, and added cinnamon. Delicious. Thanks for sharing.

This is the ONLY way to cook ribs. Easy to prepare and easy to clean up. The meat falls off the bones. Thanks for sharing!

Toasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2003
This is the best garlic bread I've tasted. I was tired of buying the tasteless store-bought ones and decided to surf this site. This garlic bread is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
