About this Cook
I used to be a soux chef about 25 years ago, but left it for construction when I got married. I am no longer in construction and have found myself re-interested in cooking. Have forgotten alot. My wifes enjoying this, LOL.. This site has been inspirational and extremly helpful.
My favorite things to cook
Beef, Pork and Poultry. I do at least 1 roast a week, usually sundays. I absolutely love BBQ'ing as often as I can. My wife loves the gourmet breakfasts I come up with on her weekends off. I hate boring.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a Ukrainian background so you know it's mainly pierogies and cabbage rolls.
My cooking triumphs
When I do the BBQ Beef tenderloin with Alaskan King crab. This is my wifes absolute favorite dinner I make for her.
My cooking tragedies
Potatoe pancakes... I never got my moms recipe before she died and have never been able to replicate it.. Been faily disasterous.

Maple-Garlic Marinated Pork Tenderloin
I switched out the sesame oil for olive oil as I have a personal distaste for the taste or smell of sesame oil, but it worked out fantastic!!

Zesty Pork Tenderloin
Seriously, cannot believe people said it was too spicy, they must like real bland food. Was a real nice blend, I also substituted lemon pepper for just straight pepper and added 1/2 cup lemon juice with 1 cup of water. Loved it.
