Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
wonderful meal!!!!! my husband is picky about his spanish rice. He only eats rice in this kind of dish. This recipe adds a little zing to the flavor. I used more beef and another half can of tomatoes. My rice was perfect and the meal is full of flavor because you boil it down first. My hubby was watching a movie and had the plate in front of his mouth and scooping it in. ( funny sight)

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
the cookies had excellent flavor. I would not suggest these for beginners or someone who doesn't want to take a lot of extra steps to make these. I put the dough in the fridge overnight. I used wax paper to roll out the dough. I also put wax paper on the cookie sheets so I could lift them off the pan. the dough is very tacky after it reachs room temp. But its very good

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2003
I have a 1000 whatt microwave. I used the 7th power. Which is 70 percent. I cooked for 6 min with roasted nuts, then I cooked the mixture for 2 to 3 min and added the soda. I watched the mixture very close and when it started to darken and the nuts were also turning brown I added the butter and vanilla. Then cooked a little longer. The first time I tried peanut brittle I went through 6 batches, keep trying, once you get it right it will be worth it.
