About this Cook
I cooked for family for many years, now just me, on occasion for a potluck. Later on I will extend that range back to two ...!
My favorite things to cook
Enchiladas (my recipe) and Roast beef cassarole (my invention) and other things. Bread and Pizza dough.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas pies, that some in the family still haven't learn to do even close to right.
My cooking triumphs
Twice blessed Glorified Roast Beef Cassarole! Bread and Pizza dough, My next recipe to learn is Flour Tortillas.
My cooking tragedies
CHICKEN bone in, accidentally mixed Taco and Sloppy Joe mix together(yucky). Plus other we and I won't tell anyone!

Pancake and Sausage Casserole
Yes, and then I adjusted it to make it easier. Two cups of Krustez Pancake Mix prepare as directed, then add 1/4 cup Brown Sugar, 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon. Cook the Bacon, and sausge as directed and crumble into Pancake mix. Pour into Pam sprayed pan and bake for 25 minutes @ 375° Awesome, when done just add whatever butter you chose. Sweet and moist enough to not need any syrup.

Rich Turkey Gravy
I just made this today for the first time. Didn't have bullion or corn starch that my Aunt's have used. I winged it totally, used flour, salt and pepper, giblets and water to get the consistency I wanted, and got kudos. For making it and it turning out just right! Nobody knew how and I sort of did thanks to my Aunt's...which I called, and the rest is history.

Dough Ornament Recipe
I didn't count how many I made, but their cute! Forgot to use warm water so not sure about that difference. I used food coloring in them, Got a marbled look to some. They are Lavender and Pink. Tomorrow's more like Green and Red. One question: Storing the extra dough since only flour, salt and water I hope just a air tight bag would be okay for awhile. What's the suggestion for storage beyond the next few days? Dough is protected for the night at least. Thank you.
