Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

I LOVE blue cheese in all forms. This is by far the best dressing I've made. I can't wait 24 hours though; we're having it tonight!

Jeff's Hot Dog Chili

This is a fantastic recipe. I had 3 leftover grilled hamburgers and chopped them up in my food processor. The result was finely chopped meat (which I like) and the chili had that little extra something from the taste of the grill!

Sirloin Tips and Mushrooms

Wow! This was good. Our house smelled heavenly as it cooked. We like to have plenty of sauce for noodles, so I actually doubled the tomato sauce and wine. It was an outstanding dish!

RamJam Chicken

I did this with drumsticks and chicken breasts. I baked the legs for my daughter and her dinner guest and grilled the breasts. Very nice flavor; super marinade for chicken. I'll definitely make this again. (AND, the kids loved it!)

Wow! I made these on a weeknight. My husband came home tired and hungry and couldn't believe I had this meal waiting for him! I didn't have liquid smoke; no problem omitting it. Thanks for posting!!

Jamie's Minestrone

Wow! We loved this recipe so much, I'd like to meet Jamie and shake hands! I made it for a chilly weekend in the mountains and it was just perfect. Don't leave out the red wine; it adds a nice level of richness. I had to use dried herbs; just adjusted measurements. For sauce, I used a large can and then pureed a can of fire roasted tomatoes. Do yourself a favor and make a big pot right now.

Chicken and Waffles

I made this tonight with rave reviews from the family...but I did modify a bit. Rather than serve as sandwiches, we opted for open face. And, I made homemade waffles. I used 1/2 the cayenne because of my 6-year old and didn't bother with the cheese. So, I placed sauce, bacon & chicken on top of my waffles and drizzled a little extra sauce over. Awesome dinner!

Classic Caramel Corn

Real Chiles Rellenos

FINALLY! I have found a true to form recipe for rellenos! My whole family loves these, including the 7 year old. When I separate eggs for other recipes, I freeze any leftover egg whites so I always have them around. The sauce in this recipe is really special. That little bit of cinnamon sends the flavor over the top. Make the effort...such a great dish.

Baked Zesty Carrots

I have read this recipe again and again and have been so intrigued. I love carrots and think they don't get the attention they deserve. Finally made the recipe and all three of us really, really liked it. So different and a fresh new way to get our carrots. I used fresh carrots rather than frozen. Had some of the horseradish mixture left over and used it on roast beef a couple days later!
