My mom and I make this salsa occasionally and I was surprised to find the same recipe on this site. We add jalepenos for kick (no seeds) and a few less pears. I love sweet salsa, not hot or spicy, so this recipe is great! She says fresh peaches/pears are best, but we've also used canned and I can't tell the difference.

Banana Bread I

A co-worker gave me this same recipe, only his added 1 Tbsp of orange juice. I haven't tried it yet, but thought it sounded like a good addition for those who like their bread more moist.

Party Punch III

I was looking for a punch for an all day open house that would be easy and delicious and this one hit the spot! All who came by complimented on the punch! Since I did not have access to a fridge/freezer all day, the night before I filled 2 icecube trays (one with punch, the other with OJ) and kept them in a cooler the first half of the day. I also froze orange slices in a baggie and had them floating on top with the ice cubes to keep the punch cool. It was very colorful! Then I froze a cool whip size container with punch and orange slices. This acted as a huge ice cube and kept the punch chilled all day. But it turns out this punch tastes great even when at room temperature.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

I was not aware of this website until I tried this dessert at a friends house and asked her for the recipe. I never would have thought under this delicious strawberry-jello-cool whip dessert was....crushed pretzels! It was so good, I'm trying to think of a reason to invite friends over so I can make it this time! And I found a great web site because of it!
