Chocolate Trifle

Excellent! I used Ghirridelli (sp?) brownie mix. I love the "mousse" which is a nice switch from the boring puddings that most trifles call for in their recipes; however, I think the recipe needed something to break up the richness of the dessert so I added a few layers of fresh raspberries and omitted the candybar...perfection! Thank you so much!

Grilled Fish Steaks

I apologize but I thought this marinade was terribly disappointing. It was way too salty and oily. I threw it out before even adding it to the fish.

Strawberry Dream Cake I

Presentation was wonderful. I had no problems with the frosting as others did, however my guests and I did not care for the pudding-like consistency of the cake. I would have much preferred to cook it longer for the cake to set better. Agreeing with another reviewer, this cake is much better cold.

Cherry Pie III

I made this recipe and it looked beautiful coming out of the oven! It did not over-brown and the touch of butter, cinnamon, and sugar to the crust really make it look scrumptious. I used fresh bing cherries and did not cook them (as recommended previously) b/c I like firmer cherries. As far as the taste, it turned out to be just ok. It was not as sweet as expected and although I love almond extract, I do not think it meshed well with the cherries. Also, the mixture did not gel at actually came out runny! What did I do? Was it the cherry choice or should I have cooked the mixture before adding it to the pie crust?

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

I absolutely love this stuffing! I love the flavor, texture, and spices. My family now asks for it every Thanksgiving holiday...and I won't make any other kind! I omitted the livers and used dried cherries instead of dried cranberries...absolutely fantastic!
