Rockin' Oysters Rockefeller

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
I made this for New Years Eve.. it was a hit. My boyfriend, who'd never eaten oysters before absolutely loved them. The whole thing was awesome. I boiled the oysters in Pete's Wicked Ale..which gave it a nice taste and I added crumbled bacon to the melted cheese which was a nice touch. I would make this again.. hopefully sooner then later! And it was simple too.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
Wow!.. I tried this the other day since butternut squash was on sale and it was great. Followed the recipe as is with the exception that I added a dash of Cayenne Pepper. BF loved it.. and he's pretty picky. "He said it's amazing but can we add meat?" So.. picked up another BN squash and this time fried up bacon with the butter first off.. reserved 1/4 of it for the end (added it after i blended everything so it's got some meat to show for it) w/a dash of cayenne pepper again. Love this!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
Pretty Good. I used a tablespoon of mayo. 8 or 6 oz Fage 0% Plain Greek Yogurt and a nice helping of Dijon mustard (that really gave a nice flavor). I also used about 1/4 cup white onion and 1/4 cup green onion. I was unsure how it would taste using the greek yogurt and mustard but my bf actually liked it.. and he's pretty picky.

I've been a member of allrecipes for so long but this is my first review. I made this last night and it was great. I used edemmame shelled since that was the only veggie in my freezer. I will make this again soon!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

I have to say these were the easiest cookies I've ever made, I didn't change a thing. I made them for a cookie exchange, but took some extras to work today and people loved them!
