Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I made this and it was wonderful!! I used chicken stock ( About 1/2-3/4 cup) instead of bouillon and added garlic powder. I also halved the milk.

New Mom Broccoli Kugel

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
Even though I changed this recipe a bit, I still give it a 5 star because it is such a great base recipe. I made this for my gluten/casein sensitive son so I did not add cheese like the other reviewers. I added 3 T of almond flour instead of the all-purpose flour. I also added 1/2 to 3/4 of a can of artichokes that I chopped up. I did not have time to cook the onion so I just used onion and garlic powder. I also used fresh chopped broccoli. My son said it was great! Thanks for the recipe. :)

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2008
Great recipe! For those of us who have to make gfcf dishes, it is always a sigh of relief to find a recipe that does not require strange ingredients and is easy to make. I added 1/2 cup of apple sauce (I just pulverized an apple, skin and all, in the food processer with a little water) as another reviewer suggested and only used 1/2 cup sugar. We all thought it was great, especially the son who I made it for. Will try using even less sugar next time, since another reviewer said she forgot the sugar all together and it still was good. Thanks for the recipe!

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
This recipe was great. I made it for a crowd and everyone loved it. I altered it a little by using lemon instead of lime juice. I also probably made 1 1/2 recipes of pico sauce and added it all to chopped chicken that I had from boiling and deboning a chicken. I made sure that there was not too much juice though when I put the chicken mixture on top of the tortillas. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Grilled Mexican Steak

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
This recipe is awesome!!! I used flank steak and marinaded it for 48 hours, then cooked it on the grill. I did not have the cilantro, but used everything else. The steak was surprisingly tender for flank steak and had so much flavor. I will definitely be using this one again. Thanks for the recipe!

Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
This recipe was very very good! My family loved it. I used brown rice that I had already cooked the day before and made my own salsa. The cheese on top really finished it off perfectly. Thanks for the recipe!

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2004
This was awesome!! The recipe was very easy to put together. I made this for my sister-in-law and her family and used it to stuff burritos with all of the fixings. They couldn't even tell it was venison! Thanks so much!
