About this Cook
I'm 21 years old and currently reside in North Carolina. I will be starting college soon, but I have not yet decided what I want to major in. I love animals and have two dogs (a Pomeranian and a Corgi mix), a cat, a hamster, and two gerbils. I, also, live with other dogs that are family dogs. I love to write and aspire to be a published writer one day. I started cooking in the past year when I decided that the disgusting frozen foods and boxed foods were no longer doing it for me. I wanted to eat healthier and so, decided to prepare my own foods from scratch. I'm still learning, but I'm getting there. :)
My favorite things to cook
Curries and pastas.

Pizzaghetti
This was delicious. I think I'll use more sauce and more cheese next time, though. The cheese seemed to slip off the noodles when I served it, so a lot of the cheese would fall back into the pan. This was much better than normal spaghetti and more interesting than normal pizza. It was very easy to prepare and didn't take much effort to cook, either. I really recommend this for someone with children, as I could see it being fun AND delicious for the kids. The only thing that takes away the fifth star for this is that the noodles tasted just a little dry after baking - hence why I might use more sauce next time.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes
I wanted to make something quick and simple for dinner tonight and that's how I stumbled across this recipe. I did not have Kielbasa on hand, but I've been known to use smoked sausage as a substitute (and vice versa!) and it never hurts the recipe. I added just a teaspoon of minced garlic for flavor, but other than that and using smoked sausage instead, made no changes to the recipe. The dish is simple, but tastes good enough on its own that you don't even really need to make many changes to it. I will be making it again.
