It's different that's for sure but it is creamy and delish! Just follow the directions and you won't have any problems with it coming out perfect.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I am not sure I can rate these since I did make quite a few changes but my changes were amazing and I couldn't have made them without your recipe. I didn't have apple so I used dried banana, I used cranberries instead of raisins since I don't like raisins, pear butter instead of apple butter since I had just made a batch and I used a little more since I used dried bananas, I also added a 1/4 c apple sauce and mixed 1/2 cup of walnuts in omitting the wheat germ. Thank you for a recipe you can use substitutions with.

My daughter wanted this for her birthday. I made 2 and there wasn't a drop left. It was sooo good! There wasn't a person in the house that wasn't extremely happy with this. The house smelled so good as it was cooking =) I love pumpkin!

Very good, followed the directions to a T except I added walnuts and I cooked it like you cook cookies and made muffin tops instead. Family loved this recipe.

Zuppa Toscana

So delish and so easy to make! I have made this several times and people always ask for the recipe. Perfect for the crock pot. My family and I prefer spinach to kale in this recipe.

Outback Onion Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Much better then I thought it would be. Was looking for different soup recipes and thought this would be good to try. I made some homemade croutons for the top. It made the meal amazing! Kids even loved this. I was surprised. Will make this again.

Peruvian Chicken Soup (Aguadito de Pollo)

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Very good on a cold night! I have made it twice now. I cooked it in the crock pot the first time I made it and put the rice in too early. The second time I just added some leftover rice at the end. Such a good flavor to this soup.

Knefla Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Much better then I thought it was going to be. Used less milk like others said and used heavy cream instead of condensed milk because I thought I had some and then didn't. I also used half of the dumpling dough because I am not a big dumpling fan. Kids and husband absolutely loved this soup and ask for it often.

I am giving this recipe a 5 for the concept of using rolls as a crust. I add my own toppings after that.

Amazing! Family is in love. I did whip up the whites and fold them in. I also used applesauce in place of the oil.

Buttermilk Syrup

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
All I can say is wow! I am glad I was brave enough to try this recipe with my leftover buttermilk. My husband and kids LOVED this. I am asked to make it all the time now. Make sure to use a LARGE pot! This will boil over otherwise and be careful not to over cook it. Thanks for sharing this!

Very yummy. I made them for a family movie night and we dipped them in marinara. I did, however, completely forget to add mozzarella. =) oops Everyone loved them. Will make them again.

Fideo (Mexican Spaghetti)

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
So good! Great texture. I added a few extras to meet my families needs and used rotel instead of romas. I added a little extra water, corn, broccoli, black beans and garlic. I also used cooked mesquite chicken (frozen from Sam's)instead of plain to make cooking time less. All 6 of us loved it. I served it with rye bread.

Delish! I wasn't a fan of the sauce alone until I added it to the cabbage salad but it turned out amazing! I did cut the soy sauce in half and used a food processor to make it creamy. Perfect texture then!

Spanish Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
Good soup. Very easy to make. Was a tiny bit bland for my taste so I added extra garlic, some cumin, some cilantro and a little salt. I also added a cup of frozen corn for color. Served with corn bread muffins. Also nice garnished with a sprinkle of cheese, dallop of sour cream and a cillantro leaf.
