About this Cook
We have a small 'farm' with 5 goats, a pig, quiet a few chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and pit bulls. My children and family love to cook with me. We make up our own recipes and experiment with new ingredients. We are working on our garden =)
My favorite things to cook
I love making cakes. They always get a lot of compliments. Unfortunatly I like to eat them as well as cook them =)
My favorite family cooking traditions
It isn't very often you will find only one person in the kitchen cooking. I like that family feeling in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
Teaching my children that home cooked food is easy to make, tastes better and is better for you is my greatest cooking triumph.
My cooking tragedies
I used bad crisco in a butter cream frosting and it ruined the whole cake. It was discusting!

Pumpkin Fudge
It's different that's for sure but it is creamy and delish! Just follow the directions and you won't have any problems with it coming out perfect.

Morning Glory Muffins I
I am not sure I can rate these since I did make quite a few changes but my changes were amazing and I couldn't have made them without your recipe. I didn't have apple so I used dried banana, I used cranberries instead of raisins since I don't like raisins, pear butter instead of apple butter since I had just made a batch and I used a little more since I used dried bananas, I also added a 1/4 c apple sauce and mixed 1/2 cup of walnuts in omitting the wheat germ. Thank you for a recipe you can use substitutions with.

Banana Banana Bread
Very good, followed the directions to a T except I added walnuts and I cooked it like you cook cookies and made muffin tops instead. Family loved this recipe.
