Little Meat Loaves

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
Very good! Everyone loves this. I used Italian bread crumbs instead of crackers and seasonings. A great alternative to regular old meatloaf.

Very good and tasty. My husband loved it. Definitely better than the recipe on the Bisquick box. Thanks!

Wagon Wheel Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
Wow, these are great. I followed the recipe exactly, except I left out the nuts (didn't have any) and used 1 tsp of almond extract instead of the 2 tsp of vanilla. I was out of vanilla also. The almond extract gave them a great flavor, and they taste just like brownies. The texture is fantastic, chewy but not mooshy. Next time I will try them with the nuts. This is a very good chocolate cookie that my friends and family just love!

Deep Dark Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2004
Wow! These are so good it's just wrong! I don't know how anyone got flat cookies from this recipe. I was worried they were gonna be too puffy, but when they were cooling, they flattened out just right. I have never made chocolate-chocolate-chip cookies before, but I don't think I will ever need to try another recipe.

Easy Chocolate Drops

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2004
These are very tasty. I do agree that they were a bit too chocolatey, and I do loooove chocolate, but I just added a tablespoon more of peanut butter, and voila! Perfection. They are very good for what they are, a no-bake cookie. I was looking for something quick and easy to satisfy my sweet tooth and these were perfect. Thank you for this recipe. Oh and by the way, it does say in the recipe to refrigerate them. Thanks!

Easy Toffee

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2004
I loved this recipe so much! I told my husband I made toffee candy and when I gave him a piece he said "You didn't make THIS!" He couldn't believe it and I couldn't believe how easy this is! I didn't use a candy thermometer because I don't have one, but it didn't matter. It turned out perfectly both times I made it (so far) and it can sit in the refrigerator for days in a closed container without the taste changing at all. Thank you thank you thank you!

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2004
This is the very best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made. It was so easy, I don't know how anyone could mess this one up. I used margarine instead of butter flavored shortening, as suggested by others, and I used almonds instead of pecans. They came out perfectly, not flat like most home-made chocolate chip cookies. I gave this recipe to my mom, my sister, my best friend, everyone I know who bakes at home. Thank you Beth for a fabulous recipe.

Brown Mixers

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2003
This recipe didn't work. The "dough" was too thin to be made into balls with two spoons, and when poured onto pan, obviously made thin, flat cookies. When these were scraped off the pan, they tasted bad.
