The recipe is indeed easy to make. Refrigeration of the dough before making the balls and then again before dipping into the melted chocolate, as recommended by other users, does make the job easy. The treats were actually fun to make.
But it just did not taste that great. I had higher expectations from a 5 star rated recipe. The chocolate coating is tasty. The inside is not. The combination is so so. The thicker the coating the better they taste. The inside would benefit from better ingredients.
I recently made better truffles using another recipe. I believe that you cannot go wrong with simple and tasty ingredients such as dark chocolate, heavy cream and butter instead of cookies and processed cheese.
