Bolognese Sauce
To be honest it was just alright. It smelled divine while it was cooking though. I doubled the spices and the garlic as advised by other reviewers, but that didn't add as much flavour as I would have liked. To me it's a pretty average meat sauce, nothing to write home about flavour-wise. I had to add a bunch of cheese to add some zing to it, as it really seemed like it was missing something. I should add that it did taste better a couple of days later (still had to add cheese for make it yummy)

Spicy Vegan Potato Curry
As a veggie and a student, you can imagine how I jumped on this recipe. High yield and gentle on the pocket is just my style. I followed the recipe pretty much to the tee, and imagine how disappointed I was when I took my first bite. This is an alright introduction into the world of spicy indian-ish food, but for those who are used to a good curry, I'd advise you to double up on the spices and maybe experiment/add some of your own ideas because this curry is a tad bland taste-wise. There's definitely heat, but there's no depth of flavour, no "yum" factor. I have a lot of it left in the fridge and I'll eat it, but I won't be coming back to this recipe. I even waited two days to write this review, seeing as some curries seem to improve with age. No luck.

Red Lentil Curry
Awesome! I'm a uni student who tries to steer clear of meat if I can, and this dish is a godsend. Absolutely yummy AND there's enough here to feed me for a long while :) That being said, I did tweak the recipe a bit. I added twice as much garlic and I didn't have tomato puree on hand, so I used canned chopped tomatoes instead. I also added some peas to vary the texture a little more. It still came out great. The flavour is just so warm and inviting! PS. I read a review on here that said that this curry doesn't reheat very well. Well, being a student I cook in bulk and reheat my food all the time; In my opinion this curry was just fine the next day. Thank you for this amazing recipe.
