Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy
This is comfort food at it's best. We throughly enjoyed this and will make it again and again. I made very few adjustments. I used fresh garlic instead of the powder, added a little dried parsley to both the burger and the gravy and added used some thinly sliced mushrooms because they needed to be used.. Oh, and I doubled the gravy. Thank you so very, very much Anne Marie. Top notch recipe.

Sexy Shrimp Scampi
Loved this. I made it exactly as written the first time and was impressed. The second time I added 1T of white wine and 1/4 t of parsley and it was amazing. We have shrimp at least once a week and I have never considered marinating it. Thanks Trailindaw. I will be using this recipe again and again.

Best Bread Machine Bread
I saved this recipe before my bread maker died but I wanted to try it anyway. I didn't change any of the ingredients. I used canola oil. The method had to change of course. For those without a bread maker - this is how it can be done. Whisk the water, yeast and 1/2 cup flour together. Let sit for 10 mins. Add all other ingredients and in a Kitchen Aide, fitted with a bread hook , knead for 10 mins scraping the side of the bowl if needed. Wipe out bowl and drizzle with olive oil, place dough in bowl and turn to coat and let rise for about 1 hour. After it has risen form loaf and let rise again. Brush with well beaten egg and a little water. Bake. This was so moist and tasty. Thanks Shecooks2, this will go into our regular rotation.
