I avoided cooking most of my life, and it turns out I love it. Grocery shopping is so fun and I love menu planning. I'm obsessed with cookbooks and I love looking at old recipes (anyone ever heard of watergate salad)? The recipes my grandma, mom, and aunt have made! I want to replicate them all but with my own twist. A slew of cookies at Christmas. Lollipop cookies for special occasions (like my wedding!). And trying to keep my food healthy while still tasting fun. The first time I made a homemade apple pie (crust and all) under my mom's watchful eye. My dad said it tasted just like hers! 50% of the time I bread anything (meat, chicken, fish) it turns out soggy. And I still don't know what happened to the apple coffee cake...
