Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2012
Meatloaf! Paradise by the Oven's Light! This got gobbled most quickly, lol! The texture was just a bit lacking ... something, I don't know, but I think I did it to myself by crushing the crackers too thoroughly. Next time I might halve the soup and add some minced onions.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2012
Definitely a keeper! I'm not a big celery fan and didn't feel like buying a bunch for just one stalk, so I subbed celery salt for the regular stuff and the greenies and it seemed to work out well. I made a double batch and it got woofed.

Fantastic! I brought my crock pot into work in the morning on a day we were partying, and by Noon we had excellent ribs. My co-workers demolished them!

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
Simple yet elegant. I had a few pieces of provolone left over from Baked Ziti IV that I made the same day, and added a bit to some of the chicken, and it went over well.

Mushroom Rice

Very easy and fairly quick to make, and it went well with both the Chicken Cordon Bleu II and Oven-Fried Parmesan Chicken recipes on here.

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
This is the best cole slaw I've ever had. I had to make two extra batches for my father; he eats it every night! Because my parents have some health issues, I subbed eight packets of Splenda for the sugar, and Hellman's light mayo for the regular mayo; there was no discernable change in the flavor.

Asparagus Soup in Seconds

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
Fantastic! I used the Lactaid version, and my parents scarf the whole thing down every time I make it for them! (I can't eat this right now, but I'm greatly looking forward to the day I can!)
