I enjoy bringing my slow-cooker to work on overtime Saturdays, and letting lunch cook while I work. My co-workers rarely complain.

When being asked to contribute to my grade school's cookbook, my poor mother quipped, "If I don't burn it, the kids are disappointed now." To her horror, they published it!
