Me and my husband had gone out to eat forever (we've been together 12 years), after going out to almost every place possible and ordering in, I felt like I missed that smell of home cooking like I had in my house growing up. Now I am starting to learn how to cook and really getting into it. Going out to eat doesn't excite me anymore like it used to, I also feel home cooking is SOOO MUCH better!
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoyed the Chicken Casserole I made.. It came out really awesome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey Dinner- boiled carrots, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy.
My cooking triumphs
Turkey Dinner, making it for the first time after years of trying to buy a good turkey dinner out and fantasizing about the turkey dinners my parents used to make. Finally doing it and it coming out amazing was a huge success to me!
My cooking tragedies
Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops. I put the slow cooker on a high setting for 4 hrs, it should of been on at a low setting for 4 hours. It was a tragedy because we waited so long and were excited about the meal and it was a bloody disaster.
