Although these looked really pretty, I didn't care for them. I thought they were a little tough. Maybe I over-kneaded or something.

I've made this now 3-4 times. I made it 3 days ahead of time and let it sit in the frige. Oh so good. I always double the batch so I have some extra. This is my staple for my salads at home now! YUMMY

Cream Cheese Penguins

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2006
I made these last night and took them to a party. People couldn't get over them! I made another batch today... about 50. Today I used a block of cream cheese and about 8 oz. of blue cheese. YUM. Last night I used 1/2 feta. I like the blue better. I also cut the carrot a little thicker on the bottom so they don't fall over. Definately a keeper.

This is my first time making this and it is fantastic! I took it to a party and people loved it! It's always fun when you are standing there and people comment on how good something is that you made! I HIGHLY recommend it! I'm going to another party now and am going to make another batch. I kept mine in a mini crockpot.

This won over my boyfriend when we first started dating! I used tarragon vinegar and added some havarti dill and romano. Also a dash of worcheshire sauce. I served it over angel hair pasta with fresh asparagus as garnish on the pasta.
