I did alter this recipe a little. I kept the 2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup, & the onion, but changed to the reduced fat Grande refrigerated biscuits, chicken broth instead of water, and only used 3 chicken breasts because that's what came in the package of chicken I bought. I also added sage seasoning, but poultry seasoning would be fine too, & salt & pepper. I only used one single biscuit in my dish, not even the entire container of biscuits, and that was plenty of bread/dumplings IMO. I baked the other biscuits and we cut one in half and put the half on the bottom of our dish and put the chicken & dumplings over top. I can't imagine using two cans of biscuits in this dish, even with 4 chicken breasts. At the same time I added the dough, I added some frozen mixed veggies as well. The "gravy" part of this dish was excellent. My husband loved it and it was extremely easy to make.
