Tomorrow I am going to make lasagna. REAL lasagna. Not the kind that comes in a red box that just gets shoved into the oven. I am a little nervous. But one thing that makes me happy is that there will be friends here to share it with. Which in essence is the point of food to me. It helps… MORE

In an attempt to become more "homey" I decided to try my hand at meatloaf tonight. By the dashboard light of course. I went with the Bacon Swiss Meatloaf. It was pretty easy to make. I swapped the cornflakes for Italian Bread crumbs and I used applewood smoked bacon. It is in the oven now...… MORE

Today I begin again. I learn to cook better. I learn to love what I cook. I reap the rewards of a healthy and happy family.  Today I failed. I had a pork loin in my fridge.
