Sangria! Sangria!

This was excellent! I added sierra mist at the end, and not the water. I also added random fruits that I had in the house, so not everything in the list. It was great. Everyone enjoyed it and it was so easy to make!

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

I made this for a dinner club - our theme was Mexican foods. Everyone raved about it and went for seconds. Was even great the next day cold from the fridge. This will be something I can make easily when I want a sweet dessert as the ingredients are so simple!!

Best Beef and Broccoli

This was fantastic! I used leftover ribeye steak as I had some leftover and reheated steak - even ribeye- is not good. I'll try it next time with a less good cut of beef, but I image it will taste just as good. My husband and I ate almost the entire pan. Will be making this more often.

Amazing Butternut Squash

I am dieting, and this is a perfect side dish - instead of mashed taters or mac and cheese. I did as some others suggested and added more onions and grilled them. I also had some leftover sweet potato and added that into the mix. A very good recipe that I will continue to use.

Three Bean Salad

How can you go wrong with 3 bean salad? It was a good somewhat healthy side dish for our BBQ. I also added white hominy corn as I like those in my salads.

Stuffed Mushrooms with Spinach

These mushrooms were very good. I used fresh spinach instead of frozen as I like the taste of fresh better. I also boiled the mushrooms as others suggested to take care of the water issue. Easy to prepare and seemed so fancy on the plate!

Speedy Salmon Casserole

I made some changes based on other reviews. I added a layer of caramelized onions, and added some more cheese. I also put french's fried onions on top. This was a pretty good meal, but it still felt like it was missing something. Maybe more crunch? Next time I'll try adding a veggie like peas or broccoli.

Stuffed Kielbasa

This was really good. I was looking for something different to do with kielbasa, and this hit the mark. I don't like sauerkrat, so I grilled onions as others had suggested. It's such a unique taste. My 2 year old son even ate it - which means a lot! haha. Will definitely be making this again.

Ham Broccoli Braid

This was really good. I gave 4 stars because I didn't follow exact recipe and went with some of the reviews changes. I added a little bit of sour cream and did half of the mustard. Also, I steamed the broccoli and sauted the onions beforehand. These changes made it a great lunch. Next time I'll try with chicken.

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

These were so good! Very easy to make. I made mine earlier in the day and put them in the fridge. Would be easy to make them the night before as well. Just add 10 minutes or so to the cooking time to adjust for the fridge.

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

These buns were very good - the vanilla pudding gave the dough an interesting flavor. The topping was WAY too sweet. We ended up scraping all of it off the buns. So, be careful not to put it on all the buns until you taste it.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Very good classic recipe. I followed the recipe, and added two hard boiled eggs as others had suggested. I didn't think it was too sweet - it had just the right taste. It tasted better the second day, so next time I hope to be ready enough to make it the day before I need it!!

Grandma's Corn Pudding

This was SO good. I used one can of creamed corn and 15 ozs of frozen sweet corn. My husband ate about half the pan - so that means it was good. It was very sweet, but not too sweet. I'll definitely be making this again.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

These were ok, but the stuffing part needed something else. Not sure if it would an herb or maybe crabmeat as others have suggested. Or maybe smaller mushrooms work best - I used larger ones.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I did as some in the reviews suggested - used half applesauce/half oil and half brown and half white sugar. This was my first time making zucchini bread, and I think it is great! Very moist and though I can see the zucchini, it doesn't taste like it.
