About this Cook
I am a mother of 3 and have been married for 21 years to a wonderful retired USAF man. We now have our own business and kids are getting older. I have been a member of allrecipes for a very long time and enjoy this website.
My favorite things to cook
anything that is tasty and makes my family happy!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holidays. But I love to cook something fantastic for an ordinary day.
My cooking triumphs
When we got married I could make mac and cheese (out of the box) and sometimes cook a frozen pizza without burning it! I poured over cook books for years and when I lived in Europe got some great lessons from my Italian neighbors!
My cooking tragedies
First married made my husband some really nasty burgers. LOL

Quinoa Side Dish
Love this! I did add the onions and garlic while browning the quinoa because I don't like raw onions. I also added some fresh basil instead of the thyme only because it was all i had on hand. Great recipe!

Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls
Made this tonight, spur of the moment! My husband loved it! Simplist Cordon Bleu ever! Did not have cornflakes but used eggs and flour and that worked just fine. Husband said this recipe was a "keeper"

Salsa Chicken
If your looking for a quick and easy chicken recipe, this one is for you! My family loved it! I served it with rice but I wish I would have thought of re fried beans and possibly Mexican rice instead of white rice. I loved how in this recipe you just throw everything in a pan and let cook adding the cheese at the end. House smelled wonderful!
