Baked French Toast

This is great on holiday mornings because most of the work is done the night before. I just took this to a teacher's brunch yesterday and everyone raved over it. Quick, easy, and yummy!

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce

My family enjoy this very much. I used scallions instead of chives and omitted the dill. I doubled the sauce and served with rice.

These are great! We all loved them. Tastes like a homemade peanut butter cup. I only had to use about 2 1/2 cups of the powdered sugar and not the full 3 cups and they were plenty sweet.

Great bread. Needed to use a total of 3 cups flour and next time will use 2 teaspoons yeast to get a better rise. Baked in oven at 375 for 30 minutes. Delicious right out of the oven, it got eaten in a 1/2 hour!

Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Orzo

Now one of my favorite side dishes! The only changes I made were to double the basil and sundried tomatoes. I also added some bullion to the water I cooked the orzo in to give it a little more flavor. Used some of the oil from the sundried tomato jar instead of olive oil. This is a very simple recipe but really delicious!

Easy Quiche

Great basic recipe that you can use with so many different combinations of meat/veggies. Had on hand some chicken/red pepper/spinach sausage, mushrooms, and some cheddar jack cheese and it was delicious. Comes out light and fluffy and I actually like it better with no pie crust. Couldn't have been easier to make.

Jacksonville Carrots

Excellent recipe! I could eat these every night. Prepared them just like THYMEFORME's review with the precut carrots and used pine nuts instead of hazelnuts. Very quick to make and so delicious!

Fluffy Pancakes

These were yummy! Light and fluffy. Did not put in the melted butter and they tasted fine without. Added some shredded apples and cinnamon for a great Fall breakfast.

King Cake in a Bread Machine

Made this today for Mardi Gras and it was excellent! The only change I made was to the filling in which I used 8 oz softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. I cooked at 350 for 25-30 minutes as several people said theirs was doughy in the middle. It came out perfect. Everyone LOVED it!
