Jalapeno and Cucumber Margarita
Being from the San Diego area we've been drinking these margaritas for many years, an if your ever on Shelter Island you can meet the Bartender at Miguels who has been making these for 10 plus years. The trick is to use a guava nectar not syrup an to chop up both the cucumber and Jelopeno into small pieces along with some cilantro, shaken through ice and served with or without salt rimmed glass. No waiting required, just enjoy....

Microwave Baked Potato
Best way when Microwaving is to poke the potatoes with a fork deep and then wrap in a paper towel, run the whole thing under the facet soaking wet and place on plate then into microwave. It steams the potatoes an keep them from getting hard and dried out.

Creole Crab and Corn Chowder
Chef John- Another great recipe. I'm glad that I watched your video before making this - although the directions are ok, watching those extra observations of yours help me big time in the timing of the steps. I swapped out the celery for Red Bell Peppers, split the jalapeno amount between a jalapeno and a serrono pepper, up the cayenne to three pinches and went 1/3 cup of heavy cream, used all chicken stock for the liquid, added 8 oz of lump crab. Served it with Sweet Cornbread. Family went nuts.....love it big time.
