Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Absolutely fantastic! The gravy was to die for and so abundant we'll be freezing lots for another time. The only thing I omitted was the orange due to claims of citrus taste in other reviews, but it was worth it. Juiciest turkey ever! This will be my Standard Recipe for years to come. Now if only I could find a good stuffing recipe....

Pasta Hot! Hot! Hot!

My mom gave me this recipe and we adults love it at my house. As is, is fantastic. If you want to make a meal out of it, we take frozen cooked shrimp, thaw and peel tail off, then throw in with the garlic and oil about 5 minutes before we mix in the noodles. We like to experiment with different spices to make it new and exciting every time.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Fantastic. I know people complain about reviewers who deviate from the original recipe, but this is great as is if you have simple tastes. For those of us who like to spice things up a bit, I made it again using a splash of white cooking wine and a little bit of milk to the sauce and seasoned the chops with a little bit of meat tenderizer instead of salt. My DH was in love with the gravy, better than the basic recipe. Great thing about this recipe is that for people who aren't kitchen savvy, anyone can make this, I'm thinking I might start teaching my son to cook, and this is a great starter recipe as we move on from our microwave/toaster oven dishes.

Lazy Katie's Taco Salad

very basic recipe, we add taco seasoning, and for a healthy alternative to beef, we use ground turkey. My kids love to use flavored tortilla chips like taco doritos or nacho cheese flavor.

great salad. refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving so that the tomatoes can break down a bit and you have a terrific salad. fresh garlic also adds a bit of extra flavor.
