Mother-In-Law Eggs

This is the best and easiest recipe I have found for making deviled eggs. I didn't have any hot mustard so I substituted Grey Poupon Dijon. Splenda was used for the white sugar to lower carbohydrates.

I saved 1/4 of the marinade to pour on chicken at table. I marinated chicken for 2 hours. That was enough time for the flavors to penetrate the chicken.

Lobster Bisque

I didn't have any regular milk, so I substituted half milk and half heavy cream. I used sea salt instead of regular salt. This recipe is so easy to fix and it is worthy of being served at a dinner party. Absolutely delicious.

Apricot-Mustard Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Beef and Irish Stout Stew

It's so nice to find a stew recipe that doesn't have potatoes in it. This is good served by itself with bacon-green beans on the side and a simple lettuce and tomato salad.

This is delicious - full of flavor and easy to fix. The 6 ounce can of beer is just the right amount. I used a small bag of baby carrots instead of 4 large carrots.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

I make this recipe every time I have friends for dinner. There is never any left over. For my husband and me I cut the recipe in half and serve it with all kinds of main dishes. Once I had to substitute pines nuts for almonds - just as good. It's absolutely delicious.

Pork Tenderloin in Bourbon

This pork tenderloin tasted delicious. I had to increase the baking time because it was still rare after 45 minutes. I let it bake another 15 minutes and it was tender and pink in the middle. I wonder if 350 degrees would be better.

Asparagus with Brie
