Spinach Tomato Tortellini

I tried upgrading it with chicken, pepper flakes, sauteed onions...nothing really revived this recipe.

Taco Bake II

This recipe, in it's self was fairly plain but good. To make it a heartier meal my family would enjoy, I added beans, onions, jalapenos, hot sauce, olives & rice. It was absolutely great with the additions but now where near the same recipe.

Outback Onion Soup

I added chantrelle mushrooms & broccoli to the soup during the onion boiling stage. I added 3/4 cup of orozo and used a can of condenced milk instead of heavy cream. It was absolutely awesome

Glazed Meatloaf I

This is really good with ground pork. Add a pkg. of Lipton onion soup mix and occasionally use Lime juice if I am out of Lemon. I add a few more slices of bread too.

Chili Rellenos Casserole

MAJOR MODIFICATION BUT EXCELLENT!!! I blanched 3 poblano peppers for 3 minutes, cut into strips and used instead of canned chili peppers. I added an entire can of Evaporated milk (12oz instead of 5oz). Used 4 tablespoon flour and 4 eggs. Mixed enchilada sauce dry mix with a 24oz can of tomato sauce and added jalapenos & cheese on top, as suggested by others. This was really good with the modifications.

Sausage, Egg and Chile Casserole

My family had excellent things to say. I did increase the eggs to 6 total. Otherwise, followed recipe exactly as written using my regular white bread. Served with a green tomato salsa,sour cream and a side of country style hashbrowns.

Greek Pasta Salad I

Turned out wonderful. Added another 1/4 cup aged balsalmic to go with the red vinegar. It just needed an extra kick. Added 1/2 tsp. of salt too.

Lavender Ice Cream

I followed this recipes directions exactly using our farm fresh raw goats milk in place of both the milk and heavy cream called for in it. I used our duck egg yolks and used the full amount of sugar. This ice cream was absolutely wonderful! It was refreshing. My kids felt it tasted a lot like fruit loops of all things. They loved it.

This recipe is good. I did add a jar of marinara, a small can of tomato paste, pepper flakes and served with fresh garlic bread. My husband couldn't stop raving about this one

Spiral Pasta Salad

This salad is a good base to explorer all kinds of vegetable mixes. I doubled the dressing recipe to get a good coverage for the whole box of noodles I prepared. I added diced peppers, diakon root, olives, shredded carrots and some dubliner cheese. It was great! Suggest you make 12 hours ahead to let flavors mingle...

Baked Three Cheese Eggplant

I am in love with this recipe! I did add a spicy fresh chorizo sausage to the spinach mix. I also substituted diced can tomato with green chilies for the fresh tomatoes (be sure to drain). I didn't have ricotta cheese so I just added pepper jack as the third cheese. This recipe ROCKED!

Snow Angel Ice Cream

This is excellent Snow Ice Cream! I used my mixer and add the snow into the bowl at the end. I used raspberry preserves, since I did not have frozen berries. This turned out fancy enough to serve at a party or a nice restaurant!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

This recipe was great! My family admitted they didn't think it was going to be good but after one serving they were asking for seconds. I didn't have steak so I used Chicken breasts instead. It turned out to be a keeper.

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

I made this for Christmas and thought it turned out great! It looked like the picture and tasted wonderful, however the large group I made it for didn't like it. Guess they are still stuck on the Canned Cranberry tradition. Maybe a good idea to introduce this to the traditional types by providing both styles! I give it 5 stars for thinking outside the box or in this case....the can!!!!

Slammin' Salmon

I choose this recipe for a last minute party at my house. I was nervous because I had never cooked salmon before and I didn't have time to marinate. I made the marinade, replacing sesame & peanut oil with olive oil. I poured it over the salmon fillets in a tinfoil pouch and placed it on the grill. I did not turn the fillets during cooking. It was the best salmon I had ever had. My guests raved, comparing it to an orchestra of flavors. Thanks for sharing!!!

Pork Scaloppini with Mustard Creme

Modified this recipe after reading comments. Doubled the sauce recipe, adding twice the lime juice and leaving out the allspice. I added other seasoning I like instead. I used a red wine instead of Vermouth because that's what I had. I also added Panko to my flour. Served over noodles. IT WAS AWESOME! I will be coming back to this recipe many more times! Thanks

This is a great recipe! I added beef bacon pieces and smoked salmon. I had to substitute in sour cream for the heavy cream because I was out. Then, I poured it over a 7 cheese tortellini. It was a HUGE HIT!! Served with a fresh salad for a quick & easy dinner.
