i use shallots sometimes instead of chopped onions. also use italian seasoning or 2 tsp basil 4 tsp oregano, 1 tsp marjorium. add mushrooms and red bell pepper when sauteing the onions

White Bread I

i too used KitchenAid mixer. came out wonderful, mixed milk, yeast, and sugar.. let set, added rest of the items. rest 25-30, punched down, shaped in greased loaf pan, let rest 10 more, then turned on oven and let rise also in oven for about 10-15, then baked for 20-25 min. great bread, mother- n-law gets a piece every couple of hrs.. making more today.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

made as is, except added the Worcestershire sauce to the chicken stock and added another cup of broth. for those that have sticky rice issues, i learned long ago rinsing the rice until the water is clear(2 or 3 times) before you cook it removes the starch that makes it sticky, doesn't change the taste.

Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

everyone seemed to like it per the reviews so i tried it... I i made this as directed except for the cheese, all i had was a 3 blended cheese i use for stuffed shells... I believe the cheese i used overpowered the flavor.. i will try this again, BUT stick to just the parm. the pork chop however was wonderful.... it was just the onion mixture that wasn't so hot for me. however my son loved it.
