About this Cook
I'm a friendly, and fun family person. My friends and family mean the world to me. I graduated from Maplewood JVS with a culinary arts diploma in 1999.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking and cooking in general. I just love to take ingredients, mix them together and come up with something completely different once you are done.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Grandmother was the best cook in the world, she taught me so much about cooking. I still use most of the recipes she taught me growing up today. Although I still haven't perfected all of them. She just had the touch. My father and I always cook for Thanksgiving and then I make him a scrumptious pecan pie for Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
My mother telling me that I mastered my Grandma's deviled eggs. That compliment has stayed with me for years.
My cooking tragedies
Way too many to count!! Bread that doesn't proof, cakes that haven't risen, and that awful, dry chicken thing lol

Holiday Dressing
I've used this recipe going on three years now. It is the BEST stuffing I've ever made. My family love it, we wouldn't think of having Thanksgiving or Christmas without it!! The only thing I do differently is I add a can of water chestnuts, it gives the moist stuffing a nice crunch!!

Applesauce Cookies II
I love these cookies! My family just loves them, which says something! I didn't have raisins so I used choc. chips instead and they came out beautifully. Next time I think I'll try both the raisins and choc. chips and see what happens. Thanks for the great recipe.
