About this Cook
I'm easy going. Love being nice to others (though not always returned)Two wonderful boys. I'm an an ex-military brat. I love crafts. I love seasonal items. Halloween and Christmas are my absolute favorites.
My favorite things to cook
Sweats, treats, breads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Wish I had more, really. I do a big spread for the Super bowl, thanksgiving and Christmas. The weekend after Thanksgiving I make about 12 different cookies, bars and candy to give to neighbors as Holiday gifts.
My cooking triumphs
Braided bread. It turns out great every time.
My cooking tragedies
Making something and finding out I don't have the ingredient and I'm not in the mood to go to the store to get it.

Ron's Bread Machine White
Wonderfully easy, super tasty. We made a large salad for dinner and I had just tried this recipe for the first time. Turned out to be a great dinner combo. I cannot comment if it lasted well or as good as regular store bought bread because our loaf is all gone. Gonna make another one right now though. Great recipe!!!

Bobbie's Oatmeal Cookies
Wonderful!! Made the house smell good too. Family can't stop eating them. I tried one so I could write a review. Pretty dang good! Crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle. Didn't have raisens or pecans so I used dried cranberries and walnuts-super yummy. I loved reading everyone's tweek's to the recipe, I'll have to try some of those twists in the future.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
When my family gets a craving for chocolate, this is the cake we make. The only change I made was to use 2 eggs instead of 4. It comes out perfect everytime. I love it warm with a dollop of whipped cream. I would like to try this as a fat free recipe and see how it turns out. Try it you won't be dissapointed.
