Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

These are incredible! I've tried dozens of recipes for the perfect oatmeal raisin cookie, and this is the best one by far. Follow the recipe exactly (except for adding a few extra raisins!), the cookies spread out to the perfect thickness and are very chewy.

Caramel Pecan Pie

Incredible! Much better than jut plain pecan pie. I make this every Thanksgiving and it his a huge hit! Follow the recipe exactly and you won't go wrong!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

So yummy! The coconut really makes it over-the-top-delicious!!! My only problem was that the when I put the second layer on top of the first layer, the edges cake kind of bowed out, creating cracks in the cake between the pineapple rings. To avoid this next time, we are going to flip the second layer on top of the first, but LEAVE THE PAN ON until it cools...I think that should do the trick.

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pistachios

SOOO GOOOD!!!!! I love brussels sprouts and this is my favorite way to eat them. We never have pistachios, and have used pecans, walnuts, cashews and peanuts as a subsitute...all have tasted great. Try this recipe -- you won't regret it!

Citrus Turkey Brine

Phenomenal. Use this on our turkey every Thanksgiving and get so many compliments! I will never cook a turkey any other way...this is the way to go! For less of a mess, we line the pan with a plastic bag so cleanup is a breeze.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

These were a hit! My only suggestion is to uncover them for the last part of baking so that the top is nice and crispy. It also helps the sauce thicken a bit.

Apricot Glazed Carrots

I made this recipe using baby carrots. It was good, but not too memorable. I probably won't make it again. The flavors were nice, but not "strong" enough I guess? I like stuff with a little more spice.
