Best Ever Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
We use turkey instead of beef, so we cut the milk back to 1/2 cup due to the extra moisture in the turkey. Absolutely awesome!

was great. I'm vegetarian so I replaced the beef with a tofu, cumin, cayenne, chili powder and corn mixture

Renaissance Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
Tasted great, but I've had better. Possibly because I cooked them on the grill but I doubt it. They cooked pretty evenly on the top rack around 350 to 400 degrees

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
This is one of the best recipes for any food I have ever made. But be warned, making the glaze is hard on the nose and spreads everywhere. Not really for a hotel, but I do it anyways =D The potent smell calms down tons after you bake the fish

Black Beans and Rice

Been using this recipe for awhile and everyone loves it. Turns out a little bland even with the cayenne. Needs good amounts of salt and pepper

OMG IT'S RICH. People love it, but they have to take breaks between eating a single slice of red velvet cake.

Greek Lentil Soup (Fakes)

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Loved this recipe. Only difference I did was omit the vinegar, add about 2 cups of thinly sliced brats and quite a bit of salt. It was very bland. Nonetheless, incredibly high in fiber and vitamins.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
I love this recipe. Only change I made was tons of small chunks of chicken instead of shreadded. Was only a preference change. Kinda reminds me of the college days at the bar. =) Thanks Laura

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
Awesome burger. I tried this once and the burger was literally destroyed. The second time, I cooked on low to medium heat so the bacon cooked at the same speed as the burger. I also lightly oiled the grill to keep the burgers from sticking because they are VERY fragile at first. Sticking them in the freezer for 20 minutes worked good at keeping them together also. And definitely have a bottle of water handy during grilling because they will burst into flames constantly from the bacon grease. After that, they came out perfect for me. Thanks a ton for the recipe Jan. =)
