I absolutely loved this. However, my husband and daughter thought it was too sweet so maybe next time I will cut the brown sugar in half. I like it sweet, but as to compromise :( They also thought it was too orangy?? Well I told them IT IS orange chicken! All the while they were saying it was too sweet and too orangy they kept eating it and there were no leftovers!!!I also did not have an issue with the chicken not staying crispy. I mixed bread crumbs in with the flour, dredged in flour/breadcrumb mixture, then egg, then flour/breadcrumb mixture again. I used more oil to fry chicken in as to get a good crispy crust. I had to cook the chicken in 3 batches, keeping it warm in the oven in between. I poured the sauce over the finished chicken before serving. To me it was great.
