Made this for my guys and omg, the praises rolled in! My hubby couldn't stop ooohing and aaahing as he ate and told me we could have it everyday and he'd be happy. I made a couple changes, first I had no rump roast so I used a flank steak (london broil) that I had in the deep freeze. Secondly I used beef broth in place of water after seeing that in several reviews. The meat just fell apart when I touched it with a fork so I let it sit in the juices another 30mins or so after breaking it apart. Toasted a few hoagie rolls, layered meat, carmelized onions, and shredded swiss and melted it all under the broiler for just a minute or two. Unbelievable! Thanks for this recipe, its definitely going to be a regular here.
