Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
"Very Delicious!" I made these wings about a week ago and I marinated them in the flour and seasoning for one hour, 90 minutes the kids would have eaten me instead of the wings. I fried the wings in our fry daddy and they came out very crispy even once the sauce was put on them. My husband and the kids loved them. "Awesome" is all I can say. We are having them again tomorrow as long as Hurricane Earl doesn't take out our power!

Slow Cooker Ham and Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
We just finished eating. This recipe was great. My husband had been wanting some home made beans since it had been a while since I made some. We really enjoyed this recipe. The only thing I did differently was I chopped up a small onion and added that to it and only half the onion powder and used less brown sugar after reading the reviews.. My three children and husband were pleased. Thanks!

Lemon Cupcake with Blackberry Buttercream

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
I made these today to top my Mother's Day off. I had my children help me with this. The cupcakes came out so nice and fluffy, I let them bake for 20 minutes. The buttercream came out great. I think next time I make the buttercream I may add just a tiny squeeze of lemon juice to carry on the lemon in the cupcakes. The taste testers in my house gave an all thumbs up. I just finished mine and I think it is wonderful. It reminds me of the cupcakes I would get from our local cupcake shop. This is my first fully homemade cupcake and I think I am hooked. It took the same amount of time as the box stuff. We have found a new love. Will make again!

Classic Goulash

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2012
I have tons of ground beef with no meal idea. I decided on this since I had everything it called for in my pantry. I just finished making it and did a taste test...yum, yum! This tastes great. I did alter based on other reviews. I used Worcestershire sauce instead of soy sauce and used 1/2 the amount of seasoning salt. After tasting it I did add a little sugar to it just to give it a little something more and to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. I am sure once we sit for dinner it will be well liked. I do plan to top it off with some cheddar cheese. Thanks, this is a keeper!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
Definitely a fantastic recipe. I used Granny Smith apples. I did half the sugar for the apple mixture and also used half the water as other reviews suggested. I figured the crumb topping had enough sugar and I was right. It all came together great and we all enjoyed it. This will be my go to for an apple dessert. Thanks!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
I know that today of all days I shouldn't have been cooking but you know a mothers job is never done. I am not one to make french toast, couldn't even tell you when I have. I used the Texas toast and sprinkled the finished product with cinnamon and confectioners sugar...we loved it. My husband was excited (he loved french toast) the kids as well, they didn't even use syrup. Thanks...Jennifer

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
I made these cookies last night and these came out soooo perfect. My family enjoyed them. It is such an easy recipe. Definitely be aware of the servings, my batch made 61 teaspoon size balls. I did add 2 teaspoons of vanilla and baked them for 10 minutes and they came out perfectly shaped and golden. Yum, yum! This will definitely be a go to for things such as teachers gifts during the holidays since it makes so many.
