Perfect fall treat and if you like pumpkin you must try this! I didn't do any modifications to the recipe. I used sweet Italian sausage and it was delish!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
This recipe is awesome! I doubled the recipe and had 4 smaller chicken thighs (boneless). I cooked covered with foil for 30min then flipped them and cooked covered still for 30 more min. Covering it made the meat so tender! I made the sauce before baking and let the thighs sit in it for about an hour. Think about doing that. Low sodium soy sauce would have been better, I just didn't have it, but I cut the regular soy sauce in half with water. This is so yum! This would be great to make in bulk for a party. I served over brown rice.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2013
I really liked this! We've made something similar to this with egg, flour and breadcrumbs, but with the olive oil and garlic as the base then the breadcrumbs and Parmesan, this was awesome! The olive oil keeps the chicken tender and even with as much garlic as I actually added (more then recommended for 2 breasts of chicken) the garlic wasn't overpowering. I let the breadcrumbs get crispy in the oven (2 thin breasts of chicken, 30 min and the breadcrumbs crisped right up). It gave it that extra crunch. I saw that the recipe picture was served with veggies, which is probably a better idea. I served it with some linguine (just olive oil and parm mixed in, no sauce) and it was really good! My husband's Italian so I had to do the pasta! I'd definitely recommend this. Try it. It's so quick and easy.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
Great recipe! I had gotten some shrimp on sale from our local Fresh Market and I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it. I ended up using some of the modifications that were suggested below and it was great! I actually mixed up the ingredients and let the shrimp sit in it for about 40 min, I chopped up onions and added those as well because I love onions. I had large shrimp, so I baked them for 7 min and I also used the modification of broiling them for the last 3 min with breadcrumbs and parmasean cheese sprinkled over the shrimp mixture. I never know what to do with Shrimp and this was perfect. I loved the tang of the mustard (I used spicy brown mustard because that's what I had). Delicious!

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
I really liked this recipe a lot, but I did figure out that I don't like Thyme or Port Wine. I won't ever make a recipe with these ingredients again. Back to this recipe, I really enjoyed the blue cheese with bread crumbs topping the steak..that was fantastic! I really enjoyed the sauce, but again thyme and port wine are not my fav. I wonder if there is an alternative here. Overall really great though! My husband enjoyed it.

Pan Sauteed Chicken with Vegetables and Herbs

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
The recipe was really good..I didn't really like the breaded chicken with the broth, it sort of made is soggy. Maybe i didn't make it right. The veggies were SO good with the chicken. I'd definitely recommend it.

Sausage and Bow-Tie Pasta Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
This recipe is so amazing! My husband loved it and said that it tasted even better than something he would get in a restaurant! He wants me to make it all the time now. The only modification I have to the recipe is, add mushrooms if you like them and sautee them in with the garlic, olive oil, spinach mixture. So good! Broiling the sausage is brilliant, I would have never thought of doing that, ever!
