I am born to bake! My specialities are banana bread, pound cakes and my most popular, cheesecake.
My cooking triumphs
Last night (May 1st) I cooked up the BEST roast lamb with potatoes for my dad's birthday. I also made a traditional, English-styled plum pudding with a brown sugar & brandy sauce.
My cooking tragedies
My very first pound cake was I disaster!!! It was as hard as a rock. Don't ask me how it got like that though!!! But now it is one of my specialities!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs
WOW!! I made this 2 days ago and my family is still talking about them. When I took them out of the oven and unwrapped them the meat actually fell off the bone. The sauce was fantastic!!! I served them with a salad and some homemade garlic bread. I will be making these many more times in the future! Thank you for this amazing recipe! I've used this recipe so many times that I've literally memorized it! Now I make the sauce and bottle it.It tastes even better because it has time to settle.

Scottish Shortbread II
Well I've never really tasted traditional or non-store bought shortbread and this was a great way to take my first taste. At first I was relunctant to bake it because it seemed to simple to be good! I must say like the other reviewers it was a little 'cakey'. But I don't think I baked it long enough anyway (only 8 minutes!) I also added 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/4 almond extract which added a extra kick!
