Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
Definately a great recipe! More flavor than any of the pre-packaged mix. Kids complained it was spicy even after i cut down on the chili powder. Definately wil replace my taco mix from now on.

Pizza Soup II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Made some modifications to suit our family's tastes, added black olives, took out the mushrooms, added some green onions. Fried up the onions with the italian sausage along with about a clove of garlic. Had to add about another cup of water and a can of tomato paste due to the increased toppings, (i used a whole lb. of italian sausage). Threw it all in the crock pot for about 3 hours on high. My family was skepitcal when i said i was making pizza soup but once tasting it even the picky eaters loved it! Definately one for the recipe books.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Good recipe, could be better. Way too salty should have followed others suggestions and cut down on the soy sauce and worchestershire sauce. Added some basil and thyme to the gravey to make it richer. Other than that it was great. Will make it again just cut the sauces in half.

Excellent, loved it made it for New Years bowl party, took some suggestions and added green onions. Think it would be better with Scoops style tortillia chips.

French Fry Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Great easy recipe! Added some bacon, and had to use queso cheese because thats what I had on hand. Left out the green peppers so my son would eat it. Kinda made it a mildly spicy bacon-cheeseburger w/ french fry casserole. Yum.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
Wonderful. The whole family loved them. I used the whole packet of Ranch, and when I took the chicken out to shred it i added a little cornstarch to thicken up the sauce. Everyone says that it tastes just like hooters buffalo chicken sandwiches!

Hazel's Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
Very easy simple recipe. I added some oregano to the meatballs and waited until the meatballs had cooked for about 45 min. drained the fat out and then added the sauce. Delicious my wife has wanted me to make this twice now in two weeks.

Easy Spicy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
Very good, I diced and browned the chicken and used instant (boil in bag) rice. I also added a little onion and 1/2 cup sour cream and a cup of chedder before baking. With about five minutes left top it with some crushed tortilla chips, black olives, and enough cheese to just cover the top. Excellent!
